A Family History

We are family owned and operated for four generations. Hassan was born and raised in Isfahan, Iran. Isfahan is the center of art and history; known for its artistic culture, textiles and weaving. Hassan spent his entire youth watching and learning his family trade from spinning the yarn to dying the yarn with natural dye. He learned that one string is just the beginning of an incredible masterpiece. He loved to see how time and patience created the most beautiful work of art.

After visiting Kentucky during a business trip, Hassan and his wife Christina fell in love with the Bluegrass State. They have two beautiful daughters and want to keep their traditions going by sharing their heritage and culture with the world through their rugs.
